A hidden gem in Bristol - we had the beef short rib bao bun, honey chicken bao bun, and kuya D fries which were all amazing. Doubled down and had two cups of chai too (way better than chaiwala!). Will be back!
I had the pleasure of enjoying my first coffee from this excellent coffee shop. The owner was incredibly kind and polite. He took extra care in producing the most beautiful flat white which can be seen pictured. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I will definitely be returning with my family.
This place has quickly become my go-to in Bristol. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with an atmosphere that’s both warm and inviting. The food is consistently exceptional and for a city that struggles with a coffee shop/cafe that has both great quality in food and also aesthetically pleasing, this is the place to go! The hospitality is amazing!!!!!The owner clearly puts care and attention into every detail, from the presentation of the dishes, to the thoughtful, customer-first approach that’s so hard to come by these days. I also had the opportunity to host one of my events here! After taking a chance and reaching out to the owner with the idea, I was given so much support. He genuinely loved the concept of bringing the community together. Everyone who attended couldn’t stop talking about the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the amazing food. It created the perfect setting for connection, conversation, and community. I honestly couldn’t have imagined a better place for it. Even if you want to have a quiet day to catch up on work or catch up with friends/ play card games. This is THE place. The atmosphere has a warmth element to it that makes it feel more inviting. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you’re missing out. Since my first visit, it’s become like a second home to me that I should probably start paying rent
Went here today for the first time to eat a smash burger. It was honestly so delicious, wish I had ordered two! For dessert I ordered the saffron milk cake and it was really good! I have only ever had saffron with rice, so it was a bit strange at first to eat this savoury treat, you can definitely taste the saffron! but I thought it was over all really nice and the chai is so good as well (I haven't had many chai's in my lifetime so will let someone else review that.) Service really good and polite. If you are in the area, I would really recommend you drop by for a chai/burger/cake. Will most definitely return, so happy to have this place on almost my front steps, keep it up! I love Easton so much.
New place opened on a famous road in Bristol. Understated and tasteful decour and a simple and expanding menu. Coffee was excellent and reasonably priced. Also fully halal and vegan options available. Will certainly be back and definitely recommend.
I really enjoyed going to ChaiGuy! The service is great as well as the food. I tried the milk cake and I couldn’t be more satisfied. And, of course, tried the traditional chai and that’s when I understood the name given to the place: it is definitely a must have!
I was driving back from Cardiff to Burnham-on-Sea and made a stop in Bristol just for this place. Absolutely worth it. The shop has such a great vibe. Warm, welcoming, and super comfortable to sit and chill for a while. The owner is a fantastic guy. You can tell he really cares about what he's created here. The whole team is great too, really friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole visit even better. I didn’t think I’d be into Filipino food, but I was seriously impressed. The jerk inasal rice bowl was full of flavour, and the chicken buns were spot on. Way better than I expected and definitely something I’d come back for. And of course, the chai. Honestly, it was incredible. Smooth, rich, and the perfect thing to relax with after a long day. You can taste the quality straight away. I wish I could come back more often, but it’s a solid two hours from home. Still, I’d make the trip again on a day off. If you're in Bristol, make sure you check this place out. And if you're not, it's worth a trip or a detour!
I recently tried the pistachio matcha and was really impressed. The matcha actually tasted like real matcha — strong, smooth, and not watered down like a lot of other places. The pistachio added a nice touch without overpowering it. They also have a bunch of other unique flavors, so you’re pretty much guaranteed to find one you like. If you prefer it on the sweeter side, they can definitely do that too — they really cater to what you want and make sure you’re happy with your drink. Definitely worth checking out for yourself!
